Please note: You will have to register with PAYFAST if you choose to pay by credit card, but dont worry this can be done once on the payment page

Q: Which banks do you support?
 
A: Currently we support payments from ABSA, FNB, Nedbank and Standard Bank.
 
Q: What if I don't bank with one of the supported banks?
 
A: You will unfortunately, not be able to use Instant EFT for the moment then, but you can still make use of credit cards or Ukash to pay online.
 
Q: Do I need to send proof of payment to you or the merchant?
 
A: No, you don't need to send proof of payment to either of us. PayFast's system confirms that the actual funds have been transferred so there is no need for an email or a fax from the bank as further confirmation.
 
Q: Why is the payment so fast!
 
A: We hold bank accounts at ABSA, FNB, Nedbank and Standard Bank. When you pay, you pay into a bank account held at the same bank as your own. Because it's an internal transfer, the payment takes place instantly and we're able to positively acknowledge that the funds have reached our account in a matter of seconds!

Q: Where can I get Ukash?
 
A: In South Africa, you can buy Ukash from any Pick n Pay teller or from a number of other retail outlets.

Q: What if my voucher is worth more than what I'm paying for?
 
A: You'll be given a change voucher after paying for the difference in price, so you won't lose your money!
 
eg. If you have a Ukash voucher worth R200 and you buy something for R150, you will be given a change voucher for R50 which you can use for your next purchase.
 
Q: How secure is Ukash?
 
A: Regulated by the UK's Financial Services Authority (FSA) and approved by the South African Reserve Bank (SARB), you can rest assured that it is very secure and reliable!

Q: Where can I get mimoney?
 
 A: You can purchase mimoney in a variety of ways:

Q :Do PayFast save my credit card details?
 
A:We save most of your credit card details to make it faster for you to pay in future. We never save the CVV code (security code) though, which will need to be entered for every purchase.
 
Saving your details actually protects your card from fraudulant use as in addition to the CVV code, someone would also need to know your email address and PayFast password in order to use your card! So someone stealing your card will not be able to use it at any PayFast merchant!
 
And don't worry, we encrypt all communications back & from our server and also encrypt all sensitive information (like your card details) in our database.
 
Q:What is 3D Secure / Verified by Visa / Mastercard Securecode?
 
A:3D Secure is a technical standard created by Visa and MasterCard to further secure CNP (Cardholder Not Present) transactions over the Internet.
 
Mastercard brands their system as 'MasterCard SecureCode' and Visa call theirs 'Verified by Visa'.
 
3D Secure protects your credit card against unauthorised use when you shop online. This simple service enables you to validate transactions you make over the internet by supplying a personal code. It also helps protect your account from fraudulent use by an unauthorised individual.
 
Product availability
 
Should the product not be in stock please allow 10 working days plus freight transit time. We at 
The Candy Shop will do our very best to ensure quick shipment of your order however unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. In this case, we will contact you via email and provide a revised shipping schedule.
 
Delivery
 
We delivery anywhere in SA and our delivery options are :
 
  • R95 delivery within 3-4 working days for door to door delivery
  • Free delivery to your nearest post office 
When purchasing with our website, please check that all shipping address details are correct as title and risk will pass to you once the order has left our premises. Should your package be returned to us as undeliverable, we will contact you to make arrangements for re-shipment.
 
Returns
 
Should you for any reason wish to cancel your order and return your purchase you will be charged a 15% handling fee. This will however not apply in the event of 'return and exchange'. Goods must be returned to us undamaged and in the original packaging within 7 days.
To return items to the Candy Shop please use a courier that ensures:
 
Returns have to be processed via the website. To do so click on 'My Account' then go to your 'order history', click 'view', choose and tick the boxes of the items you wish to return and go to the drop down box of 'choose an action' then select 'return products'. You will then be taken to the 'product returns' page where you are able to give more details on your return, once done here click continue to complete.
 
Together with the return process done on the website, kindly also include and email to shop@candyshop.co.za and we will inform you of the returns address.
 
Please note: According to the Consumer Protection Act Section 20.3a “for reasons of public health or otherwise, a public regulation prohibits the return of those goods to a supplier once they have been supplied to, or at the direction of a consumer” Lingerie and sex toys fall under this category.
 
Refunds

*Please not purchases made with gift vouchers, Ukash and Mimoney will be refunded by gift voucher only*

There are two options for refund.
Once processed, vouchers are emailed to you with instructions for immediate use.
